OverviewWhile Facebook is surely an innovator in the user experience space, there are certainly a number of areas where the social networking giant leaves some ease-of-use and intuition on the table. The web, and nearly all digital media for that matter, is about context and improving the way we interact with one another if just for a brief moment. Why?Facebook functionality was the core feature set in the very first incarnation of ul.timate.info. Originally called UltimateFacebook, the add-on enabled users to interact with their friends and friends of friends (FOAF) much more quickly that by using the clunky click-load-wait-repeat interface that comprises most of the Facebook user experience. It was the greatly-positive reception received that prompted the additional functionality to be integrated into the add-on and the impetus for launching ul.timate.info. |
