Right-Click and Poke Someone on Facebook

Install in 1-2-3!
  1. Click Allow
    An Install window will appear
  2. Click Install Now
    The add-on will download and install
  3. Restart Firefox

Overview

Poking, albeit a strange activity, is probably omne of the oldest and most widely used feature on Facebook. However poking someone is limited to doing so from either the person's profile page or from a friends list in which they appear. ul.timate.info makes this easier and more widely-accessible by enabling users to poke someone from whereever that person's name/link appears. SO much easier!

Why?

While I'm not a big user of Poke. In fact, I think I've only used the feature once in the 3 years of being on the service. However, there are a ton of people who do enjoy it. As a result, it only made sense to include it as a core contextual feature within ul.timate.info.

How to Use

  • Using the mouse or trackpad, mouse over a Facebook user's name/link
  • Right-click on the link
  • Scroll down and select "Poke 'em"
