OverviewSure it's pretty easy to go to the Firefox Awesome Bar and start typing "Facebook" and be able to go (pretty darn) quickly to your Facebook home page. But there can be an even faster and easier way. As people have become accustomed to using the right-click (or CONTROL + click on a MacBookPro, et.al.) the ability to navigate to common places seems a no-brainer. Not to mention, if you're going to build functionality for a particular web-based service, user experience practise kinda mandates that there is always an anchor to the functionality. Hence, ul.timate.info includes the ability to right-click anywhere in the web browser, from any page, and it will instantly take you to your Facebook home page. |
Why?I go to Facebook often, but sometimes, I wanted to be able to do it even more quickly that by using the Firefox Awesome Bar. Naturally, the concept of right-clicking anywhere on the screen and Firefox then takiung me to my Facebook home seemed only natural. |
