OverviewFriendFeed is a heart-throb in the geek community. Built by a group of ridiculously talent peeps (core guys built Gmail), FriendFeed offers a really cohesive way to she and discover beyond the limits of Twitter's technology. In the last month or so, Facebook saw the value of both the team and the technology and snapped them up (aka bought them) for a bunch of cash and stock. ul.timate.info adds a layer of contextual controls and single-point status updates for people who use FriendFeed in addition to other social network services. |
Why?FriendFeed is awesome. I like it. I use it. Their technology is amazing. I was looking for an excuse to play with their API and when I really got wheels up on ul.timate.info, I thought it'd be great to include them in the core feature set. |
