OverviewMySpace is, well...quite simply, a place for friends. It's gone in a out of favor in the technology sector pretty meteorically, but there's no denying, there's a there there. Tens of millions of people continue to use the service and my buddies Mike and Max (now departed) have done a primo job in getting people to re-consider the platform as something that's still very relevant. As Max was pimping the MySpaceID offerings around the Valley last year, I finally decided that I should offer the same kickass functionality I was developing for Facebook for MySpace. The result's pretty clear. Contextual controls far better than anything other toolbars or add-ons offer; single-point status updating and clean and solid MySpaceID integration into the browser make ul.timate.info an offering that MySpacers would accept far faster than they would reject. And why not...it just makes everything easier! |
Why?Before I dug Facebook, I dug MySpace. I'm 36. I'm outside the core demo. That's OK. But, just because I don't want to use it everyday, doesn't mean I should omit or even alienate an entire social silo from benefiting from the jewel I crafted in ul.timate.info. I still like to use MySpace, if for nothing else than checkin out how my racing friends (all guys who are in their late teens and early 20s) are doing in their careers here and internationally. ul.timate.info makes that easier. Pure and simple. |
