Overview

Managing Twitter Friends and Followers is a pretty time-consuming process. As you grow in popularity or increase in using Twitter, friends and or followers will quickly become one of your focals points. Sure, there are sites out there that offer the ability to view who you follow and who follows you. But, all of them are slow and require users to take themselves out of the "native" Twitter environment, namely the HTML timeline or even more vaguely http://Twitter.com. ul.timate.info has brought this ability directly into the native-Twitter environment.

Now you can see who:

  • You follow and who follow you back
  • you follow and do not follow you back
  • Follows you and you do not follow
  • follows you and you follow back

Why?

Why you ask? Well, because this is one of the most needed features for someone using Twitter not just for keeping friends and family in the loop, but for building themselves as a brand or business. Reach and reputation are the 2 most important (IMO) components in social marketing, today. You need to know who's listening and who you need to listen to in order to keep your fingers on the pulse of the world. Scrubbing the detritis and reinforcing the influencers ends up making you, as a brand, an authoritative source. I've used sites like http://friendorfollow.com, but they're too slow and take me out of the native Twitter experience and, as a result, cost me time I don't commonly have on a day-to-day basis.

How to Use

  • Right-click anywhere within the web browser screen
  • Scroll down to "Friends: "
  • Scroll over to the screen name you wish to view
  • The "Friends" window will appear
  • Select from the pulldown which view you'd like to see
  • You can scroll down to the friend you want to view more info
  • If there's someone you want to follow/unfollow ul.timate.info's right-click menus will work on the modal window as well as the Twitter timeline.
