OverviewEver since Dan Zarella brought ReTweeting front and center in the Twitter spolight, it's become more and more important. BUT, Twitter has yet to integrate it natively into their timeline. Desktop apps like Seesmic and TweetDeck, iPhone apps like Tweetie and iTwitter and even other Firefox add-on such as PowerTwitter have added the ability to contextually ReTweet an update. While each is a significant improvement, ul.timate.info has taken a slightly different take on the process. Considering the right-click context menu is probably one of the most powerful menu features within Firefox, and that many people still prefer to use the native Twitter environment, namely the HTML timeline, it only made sense to add this feature to ul.timate.info. To make it even better, not only can you RT a status contextually, but now you can update multiple Twitter accounts with that RT at the same time. |
Why?As I was creating the ability to update multiple Twitter accounts simultaneously, Dan (Zarrella) published his watershed report on ReTweeting statistics and behaviors. Watching it gain ground very rapidly, it made clear and perfect sense to add the ability of right-click RTing to ul.timate.info. |
