Overview

Have you ever found a tweet that you wanted to distribute via multiple Twitter identities but had to copy and paste and login to each account? Well, ul.timate.info can help you with that. Now, in addition to contextually-posting retweets and overheards, you can post them to as many accounts as you'd like at the same time.

Why?

As I was developing ul.timate.info, I also developed and released a product I've also mentioned called Twiike, which auto-posts NikePlus runs to Twitter whenever someone syncs their iPod to iTunes. As people started using the site, a surprisingly string community formed. As people followed @Twiike (the quasi-public timeline for the Twiike service) I found tweets that I wanted to share with other users of the service. At the same time, I also wanted to post them to my personal Twitter account as well, in some cases, to a company's account. A+B=C was the natural evolution of the "Update Status" for multiple Twitter account functionality that was already part of the new version of ul.timate.info.

How to Use

  • Right-click (CTRL-click on a MacBook Pro without-a-mouse) a tweet on your Twitter timeline
  • A context menu will appear
  • Scroll down and select either "Retweet This" or "Overheard This"
  • The modal window will appear with the tweet properly formatted in the text area
  • Make sure the RT or OH is within the 140 character limit using the counter above the text field
  • Check/Uncheck the checkboxes next to the accounts that you want to update
  • Click the yellow-green "Update Status" button in the lower right corner
  • Watch ul.timate.info update your Twitter accounts
